Purposes:
To develop focus and willpower. To still the chattering of the conscious mind and develop psychic sensitivity as well as psychic awareness. To prepare for further psychic work. To balance the psychic energies.
Notes:
Meditation is one of the most valuable practices for developing psychic sensitivity and becoming aware of otherwise hidden aspects of consciousness—aspects that are hidden to most humans on this planet in general. It is also a powerful aid for developing concentration, willpower, and focus. There are aspects of consciousness far beyond the ordinary experience of the human biological vehicle’s ordinary cognitive faculties. Through meditation, it becomes easier to experience other modes of consciousness. As simple as the practice may seem, its efficacy cannot be vouched for enough.
Practice:
1.) Be comfortably poised in any desired sitting position.
2.) Close both eyes and gently allow conscious awareness to fade away, being replaced by the dark, quiet, void of space.
3.) Be attentive to the darkness for a few moments, observing how it contains glowing points of light emanating from stars in the distance.
4.) Gently allow your perception of the points of light to fade away until all thinking ceases.
5.) Breathe deeply while experiencing nothingness. Maintain the meditative state for 30 minutes. If during the practice a stray thought occurs, gently let it fade away. When the practice is over, gently open the eyes of the physical body and spend a few moments reorienting to normal consciousness before getting up.
May this psychic training exercise bring you light and peace profound.
